This one is for the people who are constantly trying to please others. While it isn’t innately wrong to please others, it is important to make sure that you are making time for yourself. Many times we will risk our enjoyment for the enjoyment of others, giving up time or energy when we later wish we had not.

Being straightforward is important and makes saying “no” much easier. If you have a time that you leave the office every day, your boss or colleague won’t question you when you are gone one minute past your usual time. Your goal should be to get rid of anything you don’t like and add more things you do like. At the end of the day, you are only given so much time.
