Welcome to this weeks Drum Channel Podcast with host Billy Amendola and his guest Nick Gross.

Nick is a co-founder, along with his partner Travis Mills as part of the duo’s band Girlfriends. They are currently touring to promote their latest album, “(e)motion sickness,” as well as the bands previous self-titled debut album. (Which accumulated over thirty million streams)

Not only a leading band member, besides drums and production, Nick co-writes and plays just about every instrument on the record.

Starting at a very young age and inspired by Travis Barker (who appears on a song from the duo’s debut), Gross has done it all in the music business from both sides of the glass.

Nick runs his own studio-complex Noise Nest and in 2018 became a partner and owner of Big Noise Records along with former Vagrant Records head Joh Cohen and frontman and superstar producer John Feldmann (Felde started the bands Goldfinger and the Used, as well as producing Blink 182, Good Charlotte, Avril Lavigne, 5 Seconds of Summer, All Time Low and more).

Gross is one of the busiest and successful musicians/ entrepreneurs in the business. Let’s listen in for Nick’s words of wisdom as he takes us from the studio, to stage to behind the scenes of running a label and more.
