I got to talk with Natalie White about how she came to NYC at 17 from Fairmont, West Virginia, without any specific plan. She met Peter Beard and soon became the muse for a lot of famous artists such as Beard, George Condo, Spencer Tunick, Sean Lennon and many more. At first, she was their inspiration and then went on to creating her own work, becoming an artist herself, with many exhibitions. White then used her boundless energy to make changes for women’s rights, walking 250 miles from NYC to DC. and defacing the Capital upon her arrival. Natalie and I talk a lot about how women handle their sexual power in a way that is positive for everyone concerned. She really is a great role model in this way. We come to the conclusion together that her social power is what makes people respond to her in the long run.
