Daily Wisdom  – Motivational Podcast – Day 722 – Inspiration: Above and Beyond

Today is a very special day for me, it is my birthday. A birthday is a beginning; it is a window to the chance of a lifetime. It is the chance to fulfill a unique mission. Now, a birthday can also be celebrated with receiving gifts, gathering friends, and especially having a birthday cake. But, on this day, it’s also a chance to remember the day that the major event that started your life occurred years ago. Celebrate, give thanks, and reflect upon how well you’re doing for the calling that you’ve been given. G-d has invested a tremendous amount of energy once again, on your birthday. This very special day, my birthday, it’s exactly what He’s done for me, as well.

A birthday is a time to celebrate birth itself – the joy of life. It is also an occasion to rethink your life. How great is the disparity between what I have accomplished and what I can accomplish?

Am I spending my time properly?

Am I involved in things that distract me from my higher calling?

How am I moving along in my day?

On your birthday, you should gather your family and friends and study something meaningful together. There is no greater way to celebrate your birthday than to commit a special act of goodness, a kind deed. Something that you did not do yesterday. Not because someone is forcing you or because someone suggested it, but because it is simply the right thing to do. Because in your goodness, your soul, wants to express its thanks for everything that you’ve done.

I would like to take this opportunity to use this beautiful energy and time that I’m given, to share it with you. On this special day, I would like to bless you with good things.

May you be granted a very happy and healthy year, each and every one of you; filled with abundance, materially and spiritually.

May you have clarity and goodness in your life.

May G-d Almighty bless you with good things and endeavors that will be fruitful and beneficial to the world. May you be blessed with excellent health.
