432. Bea Chan - Co-Founder of Sisters in Psychedelics, First Experience with 5-MeO-DMT and the Future of Psychedelics

Bea (pronounced "Bee") Chan is a female BIPOC Founder, community builder and mental health advocate in the psychedelic space.

After leaving her corporate career, she found herself rediscovering her ancestral roots in Asia, where she stumbled on marketing, entrepreneurship and plant medicine. Profound psychedelic trips from Thailand to Mexico led Bea to create AKITA 'A Kick In The Ass' Agency - the first and only website design, branding and funnel-building consultancy that helps psychedelic entrepreneurs who don't have the time, energy or know-how to grow their business, so they can focus on facilitating sacred transformations.

Bea's also the co-founder of Sisters In Psychedelics - a global sisterhood for female-identifying individuals around the world to come together and celebrate intentional psychedelic usage for personal healing and growth in a safe, supportive environment. SIP holds weekly online & in-person events like integration circles, educational workshops & sharing circles for BIPOCA folks and psychedelic professionals. Sept 10, 2022 marks the our inaugural 'for-women, by women' psychedelic conference for all genders - The Sisters In Psychedelics Summit - happening through live stream and in-person in Vancouver, BC.
