School districts across the country are incorporating the controversial software despite objections from citizens and parents. The Lockport School District in Lockport, New York (20 miles east of Niagara Falls) has incorporated facial recognition software to monitor people on the property of it’s eight schools, becoming the first known public school district in New York to adopt facial recognition and one of the first in the nation.
