Bio: 

Michelle A. Meade, PhD is a Professor with tenure in the U-M Departments of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) and Family Medicine within the School of Medicine, a practicing rehabilitation psychologist, affiliated faculty for IHPI, and a Co-Director for the CDHW. Dr. Meade also serves as PI and Director for the NIDILRR-funded Michigan SCI Model Systems (2022-2026) and the IDEAL RRTC (2018-2023). Her research expertise is in the areas of healthcare disparities, health self-management, and employment of individuals with physical disabilities, particularly among individuals with disabilities from marginalized populations.
