This week, the cast of Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker got to preview the Rise of the Resistance attraction at Disneyland. Director J.J. This week Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance opened over in Disney Hollywood Studios. The crowds that never materialized at Disneyland for Galaxy’s Edge certainly did over in Florida. The attraction itself appears to be living up to its rumored greatness. This past weekend was the traditional Candlelight Processional at Disneyland. Lin-Manuel Miranda was the guest narrator this year. There was concern that the ceremony could be rained out, but luckily that didn’t happen. Some good news and bad news coming from the resort about the Haunted Mansion in early 2020. First, the good news: Haunted Mansion Holiday has been extended until January 21st, 2020 while its a small world undergoes its transformation back to the non-holiday overlay. Now, the bad news: The Haunted Mansion will be down for months after the holiday version closes for a lengthy refurbishment. A new limited release pin has arrived for the holidays at Pin Traders in Disneyland. The Mele Kalikimaka Pin is limited to 4,000 and is priced at $17.99. One Day at Disney has premiered on Disney+ and in book form. If you want to get your copy of the book signed, there is an opportunity on December 14th. Two four legged Cast Members retired this week. Brother and Reggie, two horses that worked on Main Street pulling the horse drawn carriage for the last 11 years retired to the home of a cast member.
