Accountability spaces are a great way for you and your colleagues to collectively challenge and support each other while deepening your commitment to justice work. In this episode, Tara Milliken, the assistant director for career services, training and communication at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, joins me to share her experience facilitating accountability spaces in the workplace. She currently co-leads a space focused on race. Tara discusses the purpose of accountability spaces, how you can facilitate them, different formats for this collective work, and the benefits and challenges in offering these spaces.
