Barry Sanders was one of the greatest football players to ever step on the field and left a lot of people shocked when he decided to hang it up after 10 years in the NFL.

The NFL Films documentary A Football Life had an episode on the incredible Detroit Lions running back that debuted in 2012. It tells the story of his life growing up in Wichita, the relationship with his father, and details his career in college and the NFL.

Today we go back to watch the documentary and share our thoughts on the episode and the running back we both admired.
