In the fourth episode of Dissecting Philosophy with Dr McDonald, he is reading and discussing the sixth, seventh and eighth sections of the prologue in Friedrich Nietzsche's Thus Spoke Zarathustra.

The episode discusses several topics, buffoons and their relation to knowledge, the afterlife and death, Nietzsche's view of how we should live, norms and judgement and Nietzsche's view of diet and the body (he says we should only drink strong tea and no coffee - omg how can we cope in the morning?)

It also includes a discussion of Nietzsche's sister and Nietzsche's view of Socrates and, making its second appearance, a fun example of Shaun of the dead dealing with the zombie-like nature of everyday life.

If you would like to follow along we are using the Penguin edition translated by R. J. Hollingdale.
