Penelope McPhee is an author, journalist and philanthropic executive. She is President Emeritus of The Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation, where she served as president from 2004 until her retirement in 2021. Penny also has had a distinguished career as an author and television producer. One of her books about Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was recognized in 1980 as one of the “Best Books of the Decade” by the American Library Association. Her PBS documentaries and performance programs have also won many awards.
