The Damned United (2009) is a biopic starring Michael Sheen as Brian Clough during his iconic 44 day spell at Leeds United. The film explores Clough's friendship with Peter Taylor, as well as his unique ability to talk himself into trouble.
Amongst many other things (mostly Tom Hooper's Cats), the pod discusses the great performances in the film, especially that of Michael Sheen (even if Oliver does refer to him as Martin throughout). We also talk about its much criticised blurring of fact and fiction.
