Hello and welcome back to season 3 of Diaries of a Lady Gardener, the podcast about all things planty!

From flowers and fruits to succulents and sowing micro greens, we cover a whole host of topics with some of your favourite people across the gardening world. This ones for those who prefer plants to people and think of their seedlings as their children.

For the first episode back of the season, i got the pleasure of chatting to author, environmentalist TV presenter, Frances Tophill. Many of you will know her as the friendly face of Gardeners’ World with her beautiful allotment. It was a real treat to chat with Frances, diving into the world of perennial veg, talking to our plants (even if people think you’re crazy for it) and how we can be a little more considerate of the world around us when planning our gardens and allotments. So, without further ado, enjoy!

Gosh it’s good to be back chatting about plants on the podcast and Frances was a fabulous first episode. The perennial veg chat has got me VERY excited, in fact, I just checked my ginger root that I’ve had in my veg basket for a few weeks for any signs of life and I think it’s ready to plant!! Find frances on Instagram @francestophill and definitely check out her amazing selection of books, I can’t wait to read the next one!

That’s all from me for this week. Thank you so much to everyone whose returned for another season, and hello to any new listeners, it’s great to have you! If you’ve loved listening, please do leave a review and let me know on Instagram @diaryofaladygardener, I love to hear from you all!

Happy growing!!
