Imagine you are a carefree child and you suddenly learn that you have a chronic condition that will require you to take medication and test your blood sugar levels for the rest of your life.

That is what happened to Michael Matafonov when he was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at the age of 8. It was a lot to handle, but he got through it with the help of family and friends. And eventually, he decided to turn his experience into a positive one by becoming a personal trainer.

In this episode, he shares his diabetic story and offers some tips and advice for people living with diabetes.
