The Venerable addressed the following thoughts raised by the audience,

My daughter is suffering from ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis), and the doctor told her that the day will come that she will be trapped in her own body. As parents, we've found out that she has asked her doctor if he will assist her with euthanasia. He refused. What can we do to talk her out of it? And how can we find out why we have all this suffering?
Speaking of sacrifices and the practice of charity, what is Buddhism's view on the use of animals for medical research? Some say that sacrifices can lead to benefits for the entire mankind, but some say animals' lives are no less significant than humans.
Will there be any meditation retreat in the future?
The four fallacious notions: Ego, Personality, Being and Life, seem to be the same thing, what are the differences?
Why can some people see and interact with dead spirits and others cannot?
