In Episode 7 of the Development Debate, we sit down to discuss economic equity in more detail and the economic challenges of distressed communities. We also discuss the building of a merchant class in distressed neighborhoods and how there is no way to turn them around without helping them to develop a larger base of small businesses. While there are a lot of great large companies out there, we break down the flawed notion that they are the primary employer. According to the numbers, a majority of workers in the United States actually work for small companies.
