Host(s): Otto Maeglin and Ruairi Doyle

We are talking with Maurice Knightly, Entrepreneurial Specialist at UCD Innovation Academy

You are very welcome to the podcast, Maurice.

Can you tell us a little about yourself to begin?

1.Entrepreneurship seems to have become intrinsically linked with “Design Thinking” and “Design sprints”, hackathons and jams. Why this connection?

2.Is it only digital enterprises joining with this, who is using it and why?

3.Can anyone develop a design attitude? How can a newbie start out?

4.Can you talk about the role of the facilitator? What are the benefits of having someone facilitate a group design sprint?

5.Facilitation is subtle and difficult. What do you look for in our own facilitation practice, how do you stay fresh and keep on-track?

6.How sustainable are Sprints? If the approach is so productive, why don’t we do them all the time?

Other questions?

Well, we’ll wrap up there.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts and experiences today.
