Kathy is the Founder & CEO of Vanguard Veteran where she equips civilian employers to become Veteran Champions. She also equips faith community leaders to build Military Ministries. She served nearly 30 years in the Air Force as a nurse and public affairs officer and retired as a Lt. Colonel. Kathy is the author of: “Beyond ‘Thank You For Your Service,’ The Veteran Champion Handbook for civilians.” In this book, she describes how easy it is for employers and other citizens to become Veteran Champions. I’m excited to have her on the show to talk about veteran champions and why you should hire a military veteran.
