ANOTHER DAY, another reasonin' – our host, Rumeal Peters, is joined by fellow freethinker, Kingsley Green, to explore and unpack the would-be republican status of Caribbean gem, Barbados.

Come November 30, 2021, the Eastern Caribbean island of Barbados will become a republic. Barbados – soon to be the Republic of Barbados –gained independence from the British on November 29, 1966. Today, under the stewardship of Prime Minister, The Honourable Mia Mottley, the State is purportedly making bold strides toward taking the necessary moonshots to realise innovation in its declarations of rights and freedoms to be enshrined in its fresh constitution.

Join us, as we deconstruct the elements of Barbados' efforts that may permanently omit the word "Banana" from its Republic.
