Disrobed: The Virtual Event is best described as online Meet the Parents with a naked twist. The show's premise is about a typical young man invited to partake in his fiancée’s family Zoom meeting. Except, his fiancée forgot to tell him about their family’s clothes-optional lifestyle, and she already assured them that he also shares the same beliefs. The original story has been adapted to fit the situation with the pandemic, and both audiences and critics loved it. The show received critical acclaim when it streamed for the first time this January and was even nominated for “Best Zoom Play of the Year” by The Young-Howze Theatre Journal.

The cast of Disrobed joins me today to discuss what it was like to audition for the play and how they got comfortable with the idea of being in the nude. They share their roles in the film, how they got the part, and the criteria set by the producers during auditions. They explain how they managed to bring this movie to life despite the pandemic and its challenges. They discuss the challenges they faced while releasing the play into the mainstream and the message they want to impart to its audience.
