Today on the Food and Drink Show we were lucky enough to welcome pioneering local food experts from the lab-grown meat and cheese sectors.


First, we spoke with Hoxton Farms’ Josh Harfield who walked us through his world as a New Product Development chef at the East London laboratory prioritising taste and mouthfeel without compromising sustainability or animal welfare.


Next we were delighted to chat with Mathew Carver and the Independent’s Patrick McGuigan, co-authors of new book The Cheese Life. We chewed the fat on everything from Lanarkshire blue to fondue even getting to sample some of their favourite fromages!
