On the show this week we had a range of delicious food and drink favourites. Joined by Light Bar, Oggs, Perky Blenders & Apothecary.

Independently owned by long-standing Hackney residents, Lightbar has reopened after seven years of redundant closure. The space has had a revamp and aims to create a place for everyone to enjoy – where the space is fun, the food is generous and the drinks flow.

CEO and founder Hannah told us that Oggs started as someone’s dream to eat cake without cruelty which evolved into a vision for change. A vegan alternative for eggs and sweet treats that taste as delicious as you’ve always known them.

Later in the show, we tried East London based, coffee roasters – Perky Blenders winter blend. Centred around rich and inviting Christmas cake flavours. Notes of fermented fruits and sweet chocolate, it’s one that will be fitting for the Festive season.

The East London restaurant Apothecary is launching a selection of plentiful Japanese-inspired Feasting Menus. Perfect for a mid-week catch up with friends or after-work drinks.

Apothecary offers an inclusive Cocktail Hour with drinks at just £7 each, every Tuesday to Friday from 5 pm to 7 pm. With its open fireplace and cosy banquette seating, it’s the ideal Shoreditch Christmas destination.
