My good friend Hanuman likes to remind me that life is way to important to take seriously. Being involved with Recovery, Dharma, and various therapeutic practices sometimes makes me feel like I can get into a hyper self-improvement mode. Which isn't always so great. In fact, sometimes I can find myself being stark raving serious in times when it's just not helpful.

A good Dharma teacher once asked me if there was something that I felt was missing from Dharma practice and work. A good question. My answer is yes, humor. When can we get some damn humor around here to lighten the load a bit right?
