In this section of Hosea's prophecy, we hear of the -spirit of harlotry- which takes away the heart from the Lord Jesus Christ. It is a spirit we must always be on guard for it is ever present and seeking to take us captive - but the remedy to this spirit is to give your heart away to Jesus.
