Societal evils arise from idolatry

We consider a topical sermon on where societal evils arise from. As we see perversions and societal evils of every kind in both Church and State, we must know their true cause- that they arise from idolatry and dishonoring God. Until we get the root cause right, the church will continue to address symptoms rather than the disease and not see the gospel which gives forgiveness as well as the fear of God as the powerful remedy for it.
