Jesus ordains fishers of men

As our exposition of Luke continues, we see Jesus ordain men who will preach the message of the kingdom and catch men alive for Christ. Fishers of men. Such men are humbled and brought low before Christ who forgives them and commissions them to catch other sinners forsaking all and leaving all to follow Jesus Christ. Though this text applies particularly to ministers of the gospel, all Christians will find application from its core message. Preached Sabbath AM on 08-29-21 from Luke 5-1-11.
