As our exposition of Luke's gospel continues - we consider the event where Jesus heals Peter's mother-in-law. We see that Jesus Christ has come to save the whole man. In the process we understand where sickness comes from and that the Lord Jesus Christ will ultimately reverse all of the effects of the fall on both body and soul for His people.
