In this sermon we are exhorted to see the significance of Christ's circumcision at eight days of age - becoming a debtor to the whole law so He can merit heaven for His people and also be the worthy sacrifice on the Cross thirty-three years later. It is only due to His obedience that heaven is open to us, for which we rejoice. Preached Sabbath AM on 01-10-21 from Luke 2-21-24.--Christ's active obedience--I. Gave heaven to us.-II. Fulfilled the law for us.-III. Was offered for us.
