In our communion preparation service, we are exhorted to meditate on the beauty of Jesus Christ - that He is -altogether lovely- and that we ought to spend our days meditating upon His beauty. If we would, then we would find that sin, idolatry, and worldliness would have no hold on us, and that we would become a witnessing church as the Bride in the Song of Solomon is.
