The Canadian coterie of COVID Truckers took their confederacy of contagion on the road to Detroit, blocking the Ambassador Bridge, a major trade route. This siege of Sieg heil-ers is of course USA Republican-supported right in the open as well as under plenty of astroturfed and fake Facebook pages. Ottawa is just the beta program before the big rollout. Once this assembly of assholes parks in your town, they’ll be difficult to dislodge. If Tow truck operators don’t want to do it, there remain entertaining alternatives.

Canadians actually take COVID seriously. The Canadian women's ice hockey team refused to take the ice until they were certain of a safe environment, and then they kicked Russia’s ass. Well, not “Russia’s ass” per se, but Russian ass nonetheless. Russia vs. Ukraine is still TBD.

Multiple double agent Erik Prince raised money for equally on the up-and-up ex-spy Richard Seddon to help train super spies like James O’Keefe.

Joan McCarter calls in to reassure us that the Federal government is as busted as it was the last time we checked. Joe Biden has about two weeks of funding left from Donald Trump’s budget, so Republicans are throwing in an offer so they have something amusing to talk about while they shut down government.  Senate Democrats quickly put together elections reform legislation, because it is a clear problem with a simple solution. Now we wait for the bipartisan group, whose only goal is to waste time in a bipartisan fashion. Over in the Trump’s Supreme Court, the first Black woman justice will make a difference, but not enough.
