Welcome to the Eighty Fourth episode of Daily Daf Differently. In this episode, Rabbi Harry Pell looks at Masechet Shabbat Daf 85. This episode continues with the theme of planting multiple species in a small garden, and in the process reminds us why the Talmud is more of an educational experience than a series of bottom line answers.

Rabbi Harry Pell is Schechter Westchester’s rabbi-in-residence, as well as a teacher of Talmud and chair of the Judaic Studies department in the High School. His favorite teaching opportunity comes annually when he is privileged to travel and learn with the senior class in Poland and Israel. Rabbi Pell also serves as a reserve chaplain in the United States Navy and is working on a long term doctorate in Talmud and rabbinics.

The opening and closing music for this podcast is Ufros from The Epichorus album One Bead.
