Welcome to the Eighty First episode of Daily Daf Differently. In this episode, Rabbi Harry Pell looks at Masechet Shabbat Daf 82. Masechet Shabbat, Daf 82 shares best practices for conduct in the bathroom, which I have taken the liberty of cross-checking with a medical doctor. It also gives us the chance to bid farewell to one perek, and welcome another.


Rabbi Harry Pell is Schechter Westchester’s rabbi-in-residence, as well as a teacher of Talmud and chair of the Judaic Studies department in the High School. His favorite teaching opportunity comes annually when he is privileged to travel and learn with the senior class in Poland and Israel. Rabbi Pell also serves as a reserve chaplain in the United States Navy and is working on a long term doctorate in Talmud and rabbinics.
