Amanda and I had a great conversation about the healing properties of creating and specifically with mixed media. Amanda one of the amazing presenters from our February Loving Healing Creating Summit. Amanda is a mixed media artist, who also explores the use of art and creativity on health & mental well-being including its use with dementia & caring.

Amanda a Mixed Media Artist uses a variety of materials – paint, clay, fabric, stitch, bookmaking, natural and recycled fibers creating art telling stories using color, texture, and layers. She explores the use of art and creativity on health & mental well-being including its use with dementia & caring. She has spoken at various conferences and seminars on the benefits of creative activities on health in London, Barbados, and Montserrat.

She curates an Arts in Health Network, writes for her website and blogs, and produces weekly episodes for her podcast and Art YouTube Channel sharing art tutorials, insights, interviews, and reviews.
