It's a difficult conversation to have, but I think we need to have it. As women we put ourselves on the back burner a lot and as entrepreneurs we are often isolated. Both of these can lead to depression, addiction and some times, suicide. Today we dive into suicide - my personal experience and thoughts on it. If you are not in the right place to be listening to this, please listen to a different episode. Also, if any of this offends you - it's not meant to. It's meant to give you hope and open up the dialogue we're having around this issue.

Please go here for all the resources and references I mention in this episode. Also: National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1–800–273–TALK (8255), or text the Crisis Text Line (text HOME to 741741) available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals can contact the Lifeline via TTY at 1–800–799–4889. All calls are confidential. This service is available to everyone. People—even strangers—have saved lives by being vigilant.
