The K.I.S.S. ~ Climb your mountains!

Supercharge your workout with mountain climbers.

Mountain climbers combine strength and cardio while working your core, arms, and legs.

Think of it as a one pot meal for your fitness.

1. THE PERFECT PLANK

Place your body in a push-up position. Shoulders back and down. Hands directly under your shoulders. Engage your glutes and lower abdominals. Squeeze! For a modified plany, go to your knees. Or you can do it on the wall or on a counter. Focus on one spot on the floor. Hold for 15-30-45-60-90 seconds.

***Be careful not to tighten your neck and jaw. Keep your JAW and NECK relaxed. Also, do not drop your lower back creating a curve or round your back pushing your butt in the air. Not good!

2. THE ELEVATED MOUNTAIN CLIMBER

From your perfect plank position, bring one knee in toward your chest, returning to the starting point. *Don't sacrifice form. Switch to the other knee bringing it in towards the chest. Continue to alternate knees increasing your pace up to a moderate jog. *Keep good form. If you break good form, slow down or rest and then begin again. Use mountain climbers for 30-60 second intervals in between sets. You can use this as a HIIT workout out at the end. One minute full out climbing, rest 30-60 seconds. Repeat 4x or 8x)

***ALWAYS maintain good form!
