1014 Some Things Cannot Be Taught

Nobody has a bigger heart for their children than their mother. As much as we want to protect, shelter, and even orchestrate their lives, some things cannot be taught.

I received a telephone call from my daughter yesterday afternoon. I wasn't sure if something was wrong or what.

Usually she just comes home and we talk.

But for some reason, she just wanted her momma. She wanted to hear my voice.

Prior to the phone call, she sent me a few texts about what she was up to. Nothing too abnormal for a college student.

Some things cannot be taught because we have to learn by taking one step at a time.

As much as we want to teach our children; as much as we want to have an easier life....

SURRENDER - Give up the control and let God lead. LET GO - Forgive the past and be present in the moment. TRUST - Know that God's got you. Trust in God's process. "Some things can only be taught from our Creator. Keep looking up!"
