When calling 911 from a cell phone, the most important piece of information to a dispatcher is the exact location of the caller... which is something cell phones can’t provide. Enter “What3words” a mobile application which has divided the entire world into 10ft squares and then issued each square a unique three word identifier. I tested the app out this week, and it just might be the most effective, practical, and easy-to-use mobile safety app I’ve seen offered thus far.
