Carly and Hannah are back with another UMBC Alum, Tania Long! Tania is a dancer, teacher, mother, and now studio owner, so they have plenty to discuss. Tania shares stories from her childhood and how she turned negative experiences with dance teachers into positive change. Her love of dance made her work harder and persevere, despite the outrageous comments made by her dance teacher. She also shares her love of children, how she became a teacher, and some great advice for fellow studio owners. They also discuss the importance of representation and how to make every student feel welcomed and included.
