#014. Charles Dickens said, "At the end of your life, you will not regret the things you did do, but the things you did not do. The world is your home. Go forth." This resonates with choirs folks and our tradition of touring. With the pandemic, our tours for the spring and summer were cancelled. And like everything else, we're wondering when choirs can tour again. Today, we head out on a virtual tour to an extraordinary city at the very tip of South America... Punta Arenas, Chile. The warmth of the Chilean people, their love of music, and their national beverage of choice - the pisco sour - make it an amazing country to visit! Today listeners spend time with the charming Jorge Sharp, an engineer by day and a choir director by night. Chile is still really struggling with the pandemic. One of the ways many Chileans cope is through their great tradition of making music in the home with family members. Illustrating that point so poignantly is what happens spontaneously during host Steve Fisher's conversation with Jorge.
