Part 2 with Mt. Vernon, Washington Choir Director Adam Burdick

#027. Steve's conversation with Skagit Valley Chorale artistic director and conductor Dr. Adam Burdick continues. The Chorale, based in Mt. Vernon Washington, made international headlines when its March 10th rehearsal resulted in most of the attendees getting sick - including Adam and his wife. Sadly, two Singers passed away. Today's dialogue includes Adam talking more about his journey of gender fluidity, which began at age 11. Him agreeing to have a conversation with Steve on Zoom represented another step in this journey - appearing gender fluid in a media setting. Part 6 of Adam and Steve's conversation will be a video podcast and focus on the now infamous March rehearsal. But you are strongly encouraged to listen to the first five parts of the conversation in audio only as well. Gender is of course important to Adam, like for all of us.
