I first met Jay Jay French at SOBCon in 2009 when he was thinking about writing a book and had never done any public speaking or written much about business. We kept in touch since then and got together for coffee near Central Park one morning, and we talked about so many things, the time just flew by.

Since then, Jay Jay started a column in Inc., went on a 40th anniversary world tour due in large part to the untimely death of their drummer A.J. Pero - and then quit Twisted Sister. To say they were a successful band is an understatement. Gold records. World tours. And more staying power than just about any other band EVER - due in large part to Jay Jay's willingness to change to meet the ever changing business models of the music industry.

In this lively interview, Jay Jay pulls no punches in talking about success and failure, changes and consistency and how he got started speaking. And a whole ton more! Listen in - and pick up a copy of Twisted Sister the Movie.
