Conversations with Catt The Podcast
79 episodes - English - Latest episode: almost 3 years ago -Welcome to Conversations with Catt The Podcast. This podcast was born from the idea that we, as humans, are not always subject to walk the path we think has been laid out before us. Join host, Karen Catt, as she dives deep into conversations with her guests' and learns how their ideas and beliefs have shifted due to a single traumatic event, a specific eye-opening experience, or a radical new thought that presents itself and left the person questioning everything they ever believed to be true. We are here on this Earth and have been given an extraordinary opportunity to truly connect with each other. To listen deeply to one another. And ultimately, together we can share the joy this world has to offer. This is what I hope Conversations with Catt will bring to the world. Thank you for choosing to listen. I hope you enjoy every conversation.

EP 50: Appreciating Our Days on Earth
March 31, 2021 07:00 - 16 minutes - 11.5 MBI've always been a fan of being in nature. I grew up playing outdoors and learning to love the land from the farmers in my town. In 1992 my son was born in Minneapolis, MN and when we discovered his cancer at 2 months old we started eating all natural, mostly organic, whole foods. We had moved to Minneapolis in 1990 where I worked for Dayton’s. They celebrated Arbor Day by giving out saplings as a "gift with purchase" to their customers. I was hooked! EP 46: Stabilizing Our Decisions During Chaotic Times
March 03, 2021 08:00 - 29 minutes - 20.4 MBCaution: When we feel overwhelmed we tend to exaggerate every little thing, making everything ball up into one big problem. Last week when life was sailing on smooth waters these little things were barely noticeable. We drop our apartment keys or broke our favorite coffee mug, we sigh and move on, maybe even using this as a reason to treat ourselves to a new mug. But when we are stressed we start tallying up the list and we burst when we reach our “last straw”. Which looks something like...

January 06, 2021 08:00 - 16 minutes - 11.7 MBOftentimes to live out our dreams we must take an incredible journey through fear. Our most inspirational and motivational stories are based on this premise. We read about these characters. We cheer them on in movies. We live out our dreams vicariously through their stories.
