Mindie Kniss, MFA, PhD is the CEO and founder of the company Lucra, which helps individuals and organizations with growth by charting their path and creating a plan. She is the author of The Heart of Consciousness which dissects heart science and spirituality. She received the Global Health Fellowship award, and she has also worked in Nairobi, Kenya to help advocate for the rights and education of women and children. Mindie began pursuing entrepreneurship when she was laid off from her Fortune 100 job in 2007, but faced extreme financial hardships along the way.

 

In today’s episode, Shay Beider speaks with Mindie Kniss to discuss her personal story and the spiritual journey she has been on. She talks about her financial hardships, including bankruptcy and living out of her office. She shares how this portion of her life has allowed her to help others through their own dark times. Mindie discusses her husband’s passing and how she ultimately was able to understand the intelligence of her heart and create space for her mourning.
