Sharon Salzberg is Co-Founder of the Insight Meditation Society, a meditation leader and host of the podcast, The Metta Hour. She was one of the first to bring the idea of mindfulness and meditation to Western culture. She wrote the  New York Times best seller Real Happiness, as well as the books  Lovingkindness and Real Change: Mindfulness To Heal Ourselves and the World.
