Eileen Grubba is a renowned actress seen in roles on popular programs such as NBC’s New Amsterdam, Game of Silence, Sons of Anarchy, Criminal Minds, CSI: Miami, The Politician on Netflix and countless others. 

 

After battling a severe spinal cord injury at the age of five and overcoming cancer in her thirties, Eileen has been presented with her share of challenges. Her experience dealing with disability discrimination led her to become an advocate for children with unique abilities. Eileen is a fighter for the inclusion of disabled performers in the entertainment industry and is dedicated to creating a world of greater understanding and acceptance for all. She is an active public speaker on issues of disability inclusion, anti-bullying, women’s empowerment, patient advocacy, and living your dreams.

 

In today’s episode, host Shay Beider welcomes Eileen to talk about where her source of personal power comes from. Eileen shares what support she would have benefitted from in her early years, and how she could have accomplished 10x as much had she not had to face discrimination in her life and industry.
