Here in NW Montana we enjoy our proximity to Glacier National Park (GNP). We get accustomed to paying our yearly dues to pass freely through the entrances, having the luxury of avoiding crowds by taking advantage of the 'shoulder' seasons. Most of us figure the entrance fees from the 2.45 million visitors (in 2019), along with federal budgets cover the costs to keep the park's facilities and trails safe and sustainable. Unfortunately, these dollars fall sorely short in a big way of the actual operational costs.
Fortunately for everyone, the GNP Conservancy exists.
Renee Noffke works as the Retail Operations Manager for the GNP Conservancy.  She's well suited for this role with a heart of service and inclusion.
On this episode we explore the importance of the GNP Conservancy and how their work and  fundraising efforts are directed.
