Next Episode: Joshua 4-6, Psalm 53
Moses has died, leaving Israel with a legacy of faithfulness, the Law of God, and a new leader. Before his death, Moses laid his hands on Joshua, his assistant, and the Lord blessed Him as Israel’s next leader. You may recall that Joshua has seen the land already, as Moses sent him with other men to spy out the land, and that he and Caleb were the only two spies who trusted in the Lord to deliver them through battle. This same Joshua is now in charge and begins to ready Israel to cross over the Jordan.
