Jacent Wamala, was born in Uganda and raised in Las Vegas.  She is the podcast host of her show called Jacent's Gems.  She is also a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Educator in Las Vegas. She has a private practice and wellness company that specializes in millennial women of color dealing with anxiety, depression and trauma recovery.


 


In addition, Jacent runs a non profit called E'kubo that creates global experiences that focus on education, enrichment, and empowerment. She hosts regular workshops on personal and professional growth.


 


One of her biggest accomplishments is when she was 27, Jacent was able to pay off $90,000 in debt that included mainly student loans. She shares her experience on social media and help other people start their financial journey. She now uses her mental health background to teach millennials how to get on a plan to ditch their debt and follow their dreams.


 


Jacent has made it her life's mission to create an impact on the community both personally and professionally.
