We took a break from our Daily Updates over the holidays, but now we are back!

After last week’s attack on the Capitol, impeachment talk has been prevalent. However, the logistics and legality of impeaching Trump are questionable. With a Biden presidency less than two weeks away, it seems unlikely that the impeachment proceedings will move through the House and the Senate in time. Especially since the next day that Senate meets is on Jan. 20th— the day of Biden’s inauguration. Given that impeachment is intended to remove someone from office, it seems unlikely that Biden will want to start off his presidency by impeaching someone no longer holding office. We will see how it all plays out.
